Infinite Capacity Planning

A method of planning production that leave orders on the existing dates and shows whether the load on a resource is over or under its defined capacity, without recommending changes. Although this may seem to be somewhat less than a planning system should be capable of, it leaves the decision making where it should be - with management - rather than issue schedules without visiblility to all of the decision variables.
